Warranty Policy
Last updated: September 2026
ZedCorp Technology stands behind the reliability of the broadcast infrastructure systems we design, deploy, and support. This page summarizes how our warranty generally works. Specific terms for your system are documented in your order confirmation or service agreement, which take precedence over this general summary.
What's Covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship in hardware we supply (routers, control room equipment, monitoring appliances, and related infrastructure).
- Failure of a supplied unit to perform to its published specifications under normal operating conditions.
- Software and licensed platform components, limited to functioning as described in your order documentation.
What's Not Covered
- Damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation, or operation outside published environmental specifications.
- Normal wear items (fans, connectors, cabling) beyond their expected service life.
- Third-party hardware or software not supplied by ZedCorp, or issues caused by a customer's own network/facility infrastructure.
- Consequential losses such as lost broadcast revenue, except where required by law.
Warranty Period
Unless a longer period is stated in your order confirmation, hardware carries a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, and software/licensing issues are covered for the term of your active support agreement. Extended warranty and on-site response SLAs (e.g. 4-hour, next-business-day) are available as separate service tiers — ask your account representative for current terms.
Making a Claim
To start a warranty claim, contact our 24/7 technical desk at [email protected] with your system identifier / order reference and a description of the fault. Our engineers will:
- Triage the issue remotely where possible to confirm it's a covered hardware or software fault.
- Arrange repair, replacement, or an equivalent remedy at our discretion.
- Coordinate on-site service if your agreement includes an on-site SLA, or advise on shipping/RMA if not.
